  • Parent takes on 'Merseyside train challenge' to raise funds for the Friends of Clare Mount challenge

    Fri 26 Apr 2019 D. Taylor

On Friday the 26th of April 2019, Anner Van Hardenbroek will be visiting all of the 81 train stations within Merseyside in one day, as part of raising awareness for Autism during Autism Awareness Month. Anyone can take part on the day of the challenge, or can donate towards the challenge, with all proceeds going to “Friends Of Claremount,” the school charity.

Mr Van Hardenbroek said, 'I wanted to do something unique to participate in Autism Awareness Month, to celebrate those who are on the Autism Spectrum, like two of my children are. Trains are often something that individuals who are on the Autism Spectrum really enjoy as visual and/or sensory experiences.'

You can support Mr Van Hardenbroek to reach his £400 target by donating at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/merseysidetrainchallenge

Clare Mount would like to say a big thanks and good luck to Mr Van Hardenbroek for the challenge.
