Clare Mount Specialist Sports college is one of 5 schools, nationally, to have been selected as 'Beacon Well Schools' by The Youth Sport Trust.

As a Beacon Well School, Clare Mount will help the Youth Sport Trust to:

• Demonstrate the YST mission and the impact it makes on:
  • young people
  • educators
  • overall school wellbeing (Teachers and Young People)
• Demonstrate whole school impact through whole child approach
• Help others at local, regional and national level to understand the key components of success of whole school improvement through PE, sport and play aligned to the Youth Sport Trust national strategy
• Bring the concept of 'Well Schools' to life for people to see, hear and feel
• Drive national policy
• Drive local change
• Engage and mobilise the system in locations and advocate for change across the UK
