  • Girls Win Gold Again!!!

Fri 28 Jan 2022 KB GC

Our brilliant girls are Merseyside Champions once again after a day of football development at Greenbank Sports Academy. 5 games, 5 wins and appearances for some girls who were representing school for the very first time. Every girl was an amazing ambassador for the school throughout the day and it was incredible to watch the girls grow in confidence and show such teamwork and cohesion.

Thanks to all the organisers at Greenbank Sports Academy, especially James Dixon, Steve Sullivan and our very own Sophie Coyne! Thanks also to all the brilliant teams from the other competing schools who made the event competitive and enjoyable all day!

What next for our girls/ Well, Mrs Corcoran will be helping set up an FA Girls Football Partnership here at Clare Mount so we look forward to many more opportunities to play and grow in future.

  • Year 11 Shine During Work Experience Week!!

    Wed 26 Jan 2022 KB / KM

After the pressure of mock-exam week, our fantastic Year 11 students have jumped straight into Work Experience Week and, as usual, they are showing themselves to be amazing young adults and ambassadors for Clare Mount.

As usual, our staff went above and beyond to support our young people as they ventured into the unknown! Mrs Murphy took her role especially seriously (that's the only possible explanation for the wellies and overalls!!)

Have a look through our photo gallery at some of the highlights!

So many employability skills being developed. Thank you to Mrs Magnall for all your hard work in setting up these incredibly valuable placements!

  • 6th Form Show their Kindness to the Residents of Tam O' Shanter's Farm!!

    Wed 19 Jan 2022 KB / CV

Today, our local Morrisons donated a bag of old veg for us to take to Tam O’ Shanter's Farm. The pigs were very happy about it! We fed the 6 pigs and saw Goats, ducks, chickens, sheep, ponies, alpaca, tractors and finished them morning off with a hot chocolate!  Our kindness was rewarded with a Hot Chocolate 'upgrade!' The shopkeeper  made them 'deluxe' because ‘you seem like nice people’! Marshmallow, cream and chocolate sauce! Yum!
