Pupil to have work exhibited in Liverpool art gallery

During the Spring-term 4 pupils from Clare Mount were given the opportunity to work alongside the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool. The focus of the project was ‘The Metamorphosis of Japan after WWII’.

A training session was held at Upton Hall School for pupils and staff and ran by Alan Thompson (Hi Impact) in the use of key Apps for annotating thoughts and reflections. These Apps were then used to produce digital art during the visit to the gallery.

At the end of the project we found out that one of our talented pupils, James in Year 10, had won the right to have his artwork displayed at the Open Eye Gallery exhibition on Friday 11th Dec – Sunday 13th Dec. Well done James, we’re very proud of you!
