Year 7 Rampworx trip
On May 21st, 24 Year 7 students spent the morning at the fabulous Rampworx Skatepark in Liverpool. A mix of nervousness and excitement was clearly in the air on arrival as the group saw some of the bigger ramps and picked up their scooters for the first time! Within minutes, however EVERY student was whizzing around the site, choosing ramps that suited their experience level and gradually pushing themselves to more and more challenging manoeuvres! The Rampworx coaches were amazing; spending so much time with our students and helping them to build confidence and conquer fears. The morning was rounded off with a delicious hot lunch before the group returned to Clare Mount for afternoon school; exhausted but proud of their new-found techniques and skills.
