Girls Cricket on the rise at Clare Mount

Our cricketing girls travelled to Bebington High for their first fixture for many months. Vicky and Mollie, who also captained the side, were making their debuts alongside regulars Kaitlyn, Amelia and Louise. The girls came up against a very good and well drilled Bebington side but played competitively and showed great character in defeat. All of the girls showed excellent attitudes and some excellent batting, bowling and fielding was on display. What was more important was the excellent spirit that the game was played in which was a credit to Bebington High School and their staff. Exciting developments in Cheshire Disability Cricket mean that these girls, who were a credit to our school, should see lots more opportunities to develop their skills in the coming months. Thanks to Mr White again for his support. We are both excited about what 2016-2017 will bring for our talented squad of cricketing students. I am proud of all the players as always.
