Autism resource helps teachers across UK make PE and Sport accessible for all

Clare Mount Specialist Sports College has developed a resource to help teachers across the UK make their PE lessons accessible to all young people with autism.

Written by Mr Keefe, Mrs Rowlands, Mr Vasey and Mr White and published by the Youth Sport Trust and The National Autistic Society; every school in the Youth Sport Trust network of schools will receive a copy. The Department of Education is also sending out to schools nationally.

Parents and carers can your children by completing ‘the Passport to PE’ section and returning this to school with your child.  The guide may also be helpful for structuring activities at home.
