We are pleased to report on the recent leadership event held at Weatherhead High School on Tuesday, 25th March. This inspiring occasion brought together young leaders from various schools, including our Year 10 students, as part of their journey towards achieving the Level 1 Sports Leaders Award.

The event was a resounding success, with students responding enthusiastically to the motivational speeches from role models such as Paralympian Ayaz Bhuta and young leader Grace. Their powerful messages about resilience, teamwork, and leadership left a lasting impression, encouraging all participants to reflect on their own roles as young leaders. Ayaz’s personal story, alongside the practical wheelchair rugby session, highlighted the importance of inclusivity in sport and leadership.

We extend our gratitude to Weatherhead High School for hosting and organising this fantastic event. Our students found the experience highly engaging and left feeling inspired to continue developing their leadership skills.
