Girls Football Tournament at Greenbank Sports Academy
Our girls football team recently participated in the Merseyside Panathlon Football competition at Greenbank Academy in Liverpool. Although the team faced a setback losing one game, the girls regrouped, showed tremendous resilience, and went on to win four matches and drew two. Their impressive performances secured a place in the final!
In a tough final, our girls came out second best losing the game 6-1. However, they played really well against a strong team from Banks View who were made up of Year 10 and 11 pupils. Clare Mount's team was the youngest by far in the competition and a huge well done to all the girls who took part. They represented our school with outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Mrs Shaw and Miss Hollis were extremely proud of you all!
