"The champions of West Cheshire" win gold but lose a thrilling final at Warrington CC
Thu 22 Jun 2023Our Cricket team travelled to Warrington for the North West regional tournaments. They beat Dorin Park by 107 runs to 36, Oaklands 2s in a close game by 76 runs to 68 then a strong performance saw us win by 106 runs to 26 against Foxfield and thus, win both the group and Gold Medals.
We played a final game against Oaklands 1s and we were beaten by 115 runs to 97 with some big hitting from both teams.
Here is the group with their medals and all of the players from every side. It was a fantastic day, brilliantly organised, as ever, by Cheshire Cricket Board.
Thanks to Mr Ritchie for driving us to the tournament
