  • 6th Form Visit Woodchurch HS School Farm

    Thu 17 Mar 2022 KB

Our 6th form have been visiting Woodchurch High School to gain work experience in their farm. Everyone mucked in and helped each other out. We have fed the Alpacas, sheep and Vivienne and Florence (the pigs!)

Students now know how much food is necessary for a healthy diet for 3 Guinea pigs and lots of beautiful rabbits. They washed water bowls and bottles and found out how to attach the bottles back on to hutches.

Also on Wednesdays we have been having regular visits to the wonderful Tam O'Shanter's farm in Bidston.

    Enjoy the pics!

  • 'Community Connector' Coffee Mornings Launch Succesfully!

    Wed 09 Mar 2022 KB

On Friday 4th March we welcomed 25 of our parents/carers to our Community Cafe for a chance to network and hear advice and guidance while enjoying some top-notch refreshments.

The advice came in the form of the team from Involve North West Community Connectors and our parents were especially interested to hear about Personal Independence Payments. Jacqui, one of the Community Connectors collected information about what our parents would like to hear more about in the future and coffee mornings will continue every Friday from 10.00-11.30

Tea, coffee and refreshments were prepared and distributed by our wonderful 6th form students under the guidance of Mrs Badzire.

    Roll on next week!
