  • Clare Mount Wildflower Project with Ling Warlow

    Tue 21 Mar 2023 MHa / KB

On Friday 17th March we had the great pleasure of welcoming local artist, Ling Warlow to Clare Mount. Ling showed a group of 13 students from across Years 7 and 8 how to make wildflowers out of crepe paper. The group showed off their creative flair, as you can see from the selection of photographs! The poppies will now be used as part of a display at Thurstaston visitor centre to mark the 50th anniversary of the Woodland Trust - alongside flowers made by other schools across the Wirral. We will also get an invite at a later date to attend the reveal and have a picnic lunch!

  • 2nd is the new 1st for the Table Cricketers

Thu 02 Mar 2023 Paul Kearney

To Greenbank went the Table Cricket team in search of Merseyside championship glory. They had a fantastic time and conducted themselves in exemplary fashion as ambassadors for Clare Mount, winning 3 out of 4 games and finishing 2nd in the table behind the undefeated team from Sandfield Park. Proud, as ever, of these brilliant students.
