Year 11 Prepare the School Garden for Sunnier Times Ahead!

Learning Outside The Classroom is important to the staff and students at Clare Mount; not least because it's great fun but...did you know....

Gardening requires children to practice and hone in on their fine motor skills. Planting seeds, scooping dirt and watering plants all help to improve motor skills, which can in turn help to improve their concentration and learning capabilities!

Today, 11Ba have been prepping our kitchen-garden ready for the vegetable crops we hope to plant out when Jack Frost has waved goodbye!
