School Uniform
School uniform is compulsory for all students in KS3 and KS4.
Boys
Navy blue plain sweatshirts (with or without school logo)
White shirt or white polo shirt
Black plain trousers
Plain socks in black, blue grey or white
Black sensible shoes - No trainers
Black blazer (optional) with or without school badge
Coats as appropriate
Girls
Navy blue plain sweatshirts (with or without school logo)
White blouse or white polo shirt
Navy blue plain skirt (not too short or split) or black trousers
Plain socks/ tights in black, blue or white
Black sensible shoes - No trainers or high heels
Black blazer (optional) with or without school badge
Coats as appropriate
It is essential that all items of clothing, pencil cases etc. are clearly marked with the student’s name.
- Jewellery is forbidden in school other than one pair of stud earrings (which must be removed for PE, games and swimming) and watches.
- No extreme hair cuts, styles or colours.
Sixth Form Dress Code
As the majority of students have enjoyed dressing smartly this year we are going to adopt a code of ‘office dress’ for all Sixth Formers.
Boys
- Smart suit

- Black trousers with a shirt and tie
- Black trousers with white polo shirt
- Shoes, not trainers
- Black jumper or cardigan - No hoodies
- Coats as appropriate
Girls
- Black dress
- Black trousers or skirt
- White polo shirt or blouse
- Shoes (very low heels only) - No trainers
- Black jumper or cardigan - No hoodies
- Coats as appropriate
- Jewellery should be discreet and removable when required.
- Make-up should be discreet and removable when required.
- Long hair will need to be tied back for some activities.
- Sports wear and trainers will be needed for sport and leisure activities.
- Students taking specialist activities should discuss protective clothing with their tutors.
- No jeans, leggings, shorts, tshirts, football tops or track suits
