Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs to achieve their best? Clare Mount Specialist Sports College, one of the largest special secondary schools in the UK, is looking for a suitably qualified Medication Officer to join our supportive staff community.
About the Role
- Your role will involve leading a dedicated team of HLTA’s and TA’s working closely with a number of pupils who require medication on a daily basis, with other pupils requiring support in relation to epilepsy, diabetes, food allergies and other medical needs. Whilst strictly adhering to statutory health and safety regulations by ensuring accurate records are maintained and auditing and tracking of medication is logged.

What We’re Looking For
- An experienced and qualified HLTA (NVQ Level 4 equivalent or above) in a similar role or equivalent, or with supervisory experience in nursing or care
- Patience, creativity, and initiative
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively
- Enthusiasm and commitment to supporting the highest standard of physical well-being, safety and inclusion for pupils
- Enhanced DBS required
