Caretaker

 

Band D £19,171 to £19,554
Full Time Permanent
36 hrs per week split shift
Required as soon as possible

 

We seeking to appoint a permanent full time Caretaker who is enthusiastic, conscientious, proactive and self-motivated, who would like to provide a key role in maintaining and developing our outstanding school, to ensure a welcoming, safe and modern environment for the whole school community.

 

 Duties will include:
 Acting as a key holder, locking and unlocking the school and carrying out security checks of the whole site
Carrying out and recording maintenance checks and maintaining records to a high standard
Management of external maintenance and service contracts and supervision of contractors whilst on site
Monitoring site stock, ordering supplies and maintaining associated records
Experience of D.I.Y. and ability to carry out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating competently
Willingness to attend training courses, including health and safety awareness
Undertake cleaning duties whilst supporting a small team of school cleaners
