It's 'Moving Day' to celebrate this Year's Festival of Culture and Creativity!
Our Culture and Creativity theme this year was 'moving'.
Pupils moved between six activities; these included:
- An inflatable assault course! Pupils (and some staff) raced each other in pairs from one end to the other.
- Performing arts - dance and drama. Students sang 'Move On Up' by Five, (remember them?!) They didn't stop there as Mr Gore taught them 'Moving On Up' by M People, retro! They were in fine voice.
- Next stop, an American diner led by our office staff. Hot-dogs, games and jiving!
- Mrs Booth, Mrs Stephenson and Mrs McLeod ran a dream-catcher craft session. Each pupil made their own dream catcher to represent Mrs Webster's dream of a big school for our students.
- Next, transport! We welcomed Stuart from the Wirral Transport museum, Gavin, Oliver and Jim who collectively brought a double decker bus, a restored Dexter tractor, old bike and vintage Ford car onto the school yard!
- Our final visitors were the fabulous folk from Cheshire Falconry who flew some magnificent birds of prey and shared lots of facts.
Thanks to everyone who led a workshop and well done to all pupils and staff who joined in with the activities!
