Travel and Tourism group take a trip to Chester

Year 10 students have been looking at UK Travel Destinations including seaside resorts, places of historical interest and national parks. We chose to visit Chester to see what it has to offer to visitors as a tourist destination. We identified key tourist sites including the Castle, Amphitheatre and the Roman Gardens. We also walked the city walls, watched the Roman Dewa Experience in action and visited the Storyhouse. Students called at the Chester Visitor Centre to collect leaflets and information to help them to produce a PowerPoint on Chester as a tourist resort.
